Days of Croatian Tourism were held in continental Croatia for the first time!
Anyone who is anyone in Croatian tourism headed on east this week, as Days of Croatian Tourism was held in continental Croatia (Slavonia) for the first time.
More than 1,000 participants, tourism professionals and other actors in Croatia’s tourism and related sectors, as well as central and local government officials and foreign guests, attend the event, organised October 2-5, 2019 by the Tourism Ministry, the Croatian Tourism Board (HTZ) and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK).
I am extremely pleased that for the first time in history, Days of Croatian Tourism are being held in the continental part of our country, in Slavonia, our still somehow undiscovered tourist pearl. I am sure that this traditional tourist gathering, that gathers over 1000 participants, will give additonal breeze in the promotion of Slavonia, both on domestic and foreign markets, which are increasingly reconginizing this region as a desirable and indigenous tourist destination.
